We started the evening trying fruit in the different colours of the Rainbow!!! From tomatoes to oranges and peppers… to sugar snaps and blueberries and blackberries. We then hunted the store for more fruits and vegetables in the different colours. 
After the fruit and veg we visited the fish counter… we met a Rainbow Trout and had the chance to feel the scales and the tongue. Did you know that it’s teeth are found on the tongue… it felt sharp!!
We then visited the bakery where we learned about yeast and even got to try some tiger bread!! Did you know that 144 loaves of bread could be baked in their ovens at once!!!
We finished with a visit to the fridges and freezers. We didn’t stay long but we spotted pizzas and fish fingers along with milk and cheese. Every Rainbow went home with a badge, activity book and a piece of fruit too!!!Back to the Hall next week for more fun and games!!
